Stop Motion Animation: Hey Diddle Diddle w/Free Printable Coloring Pages for Kids

6 Nov IMG_3321

So here is the set up for our stop motion animation.  The lighting issue is far different than it is with shooting live shows with Bean, but thankfully, my husband rocks and sets it up for me.

Without further ado, here is our little stop motion short for Hey Diddle Diddle!

Here is the free printable coloring page, so that your child can make their own “Hey Diddle Diddle” picture!  coloring-page-diddle

Coming up Next! More Stop Motion Animation! Hey Diddle Diddle & The Twelve Days of Christmas w/Free Printable Coloring Pages!

5 Nov Hey Diddle Diddle and more!

I’ve been working on new artwork for Hey Diddle Diddle (which is FINALLY finished!) and have started on The Twelve Days of Christmas.  This is a very time intensive process, but the stop motion animation videos seem to be the most popular, so I’m trying to accomplish one or two each month.  Once I have more “stock” built up with a lot of drawings, I may be able to do one a week eventually, if I can stay organized with my clip art!

Twelve Days of Christmas… not sure I was thinking this one through!

Can you find Bean the Monkey in this picture?

Hey Diddle Diddle and more!

Another step finished!

This is where I’ve been working for the past week:  On our deck, with our absolutely divine, lovely, peaceful yard.  This is the first time in our adult lives that we’ve had SUCH a nice and perfect yard!

Also, keep an eye out later this week I’ll be uploading some more free printables for you as well as a new Bean video on Thankfulness AND a Thanksgiving day craft!

I also need suggestions on what to do next with Bean the Monkey.  Thoughts?

I LOVE Fan Photos!!! They Seriously Make Us Smile SO Much!

1 Nov These photos seriously made my entire night:)

This past week has been a difficult and draining week for me.  Then, last night, a mom posted these photos of her kids watching Bean’s show where Bean, Paris, Abyni & Jay drew roads with sidewalk chalk and then played with cars.

Then she posted photos of her kids drawing roads and playing.  I just about melted on the spot, I mean, HOW SWEET IS THAT???

The Kids watching the show for inspiration and ideas!

They even made a special road for their little brother so he had roads to play on, too!

These photos seriously made my entire night:)

I love seeing creativity in children!

They even thought to make sure the road was big enough for their big car!

Trains, too!

And look! A Helipad!

Its your turn!  Make my day and send me some pictures of your child being inspired by Bean!

We’ll be filming this Sunday for more videos next week… keep an eye out, and thank you so much for your support!

A Wedding, A Cake, Family and A Break

22 Oct Fullscreen capture 10222012 25302 PM

Okay, I hadn’t planned on taking a break this week, but life has interfered a little bit.

My oldest daughter, Sprite is getting married on Sunday and I am making her cake.

Here is Sprite, my oldest, teaching Bean how to juggle.

I’ve decorated cakes before, but this is my first wedding cake (so yeah, I’m a little stressed) and in addition to that, we’re of course going to be having company in the form of several out of state relatives coming over.

That means I need to get busy and actually finish some more of these in progress house projects we have going.  Paris and I are working on finishing up The Avengers Custom Painted Bathroom.  I am painting the kitchen, Patrick is putting up the cool tiles for the back splash, and we finished our pink and brown deck this weekend.

My Favorite Deck EVER!:)

So, to tide you over in case I don’t find time for filming this week, here is a video of my aforementioned oldest daughter teaching Bean How to Juggle for Kids.

I’d love to hear what you’d like to see on the show in the coming months!

Let’s Play Hopscotch with Bean!

19 Oct hopscotch-4

Today’s video is playing hopscotch!  It is my kids’ version, which doesn’t necessarily match up with others that I’ve found online, but since its the way THEY play it, that’s how we’re doing it today on the show.  Watch Bean and friends play hopscotch here!

You can find a bunch of other outdoor game ideas here and here.  Next week we’ll be back in the studio filming more imagination activities.  We’ll be drawing using our imagination, making fun costume ideas and hopefully our new imagination song as well as at least one stop motion animation video.

Let us know what YOU would like to see in November and we’ll try to incorporate it into our show!

If you missed our other outdoor games videos, you can see them here:

Come and Play Cars with Us!  And Don’t Step on the Lava!

Come and Play Hide & Seek, Tag and Have Fun Drawing!

Come Meet our Dog, Diva and Come with Us on a Walk!

Come & Swing with Bean and Abyni AND Count to Ten for a Nap!

Or, if you prefer more scripted shows, see our first detective/mystery show!  Bean’s Detective Agency!

Thanks for visiting, and don’t forget to share your ideas and suggestions for future shows!

Radio Ad: Sol Searching Radio

18 Oct

We’re going to buy ad space on an online radio show, so the girls and I recorded this ad this morning.

What do you think?  Is it catchy?  Memorable?  Would it peak your curiosity?

I used the New Theme Song from bean’s show as background… to kind of help tie it all together.

Bean & Jay Meet Diva, Our Dog.

18 Oct 384259_430449893685836_1560519332_n

Today Bean is introducing Jay to our dog.  Paris is showing off Diva’s tricks and then the kids all take Diva on a walk.  Let the sweetness begin!

Watch Now: Jay, Paris, Abyni & Bean Take Diva for a Walk.
