Stop Motion Animation: Hey Diddle Diddle w/Free Printable Coloring Pages for Kids

6 Nov

So here is the set up for our stop motion animation.  The lighting issue is far different than it is with shooting live shows with Bean, but thankfully, my husband rocks and sets it up for me.

Without further ado, here is our little stop motion short for Hey Diddle Diddle!

Here is the free printable coloring page, so that your child can make their own “Hey Diddle Diddle” picture!  coloring-page-diddle

I’ve been working on new artwork for Hey Diddle Diddle (which is FINALLY finished!) and have started on The Twelve Days of Christmas.  This is a very time intensive process, but the stop motion animation videos seem to be the most popular, so I’m trying to accomplish one or two each month.  Once I have more “stock” built up with a lot of drawings, I may be able to do one a week eventually, if I can stay organized with my clip art!

Twelve Days of Christmas… not sure I was thinking this one through!

Can you find Bean the Monkey in this picture?

Hey Diddle Diddle and more!

Another step finished!

This is where I’ve been working for the past week:  On our deck, with our absolutely divine, lovely, peaceful yard.  This is the first time in our adult lives that we’ve had SUCH a nice and perfect yard!

Also, keep an eye out later this week I’ll be uploading some more free printables for you as well as a new Bean video on Thankfulness AND a Thanksgiving day craft!

I also need suggestions on what to do next with Bean the Monkey.  Thoughts?

I LOVE Fan Photos!!! They Seriously Make Us Smile SO Much!

This past week has been a difficult and draining week for me.  Then, last night, a mom posted these photos of her kids watching Bean’s show where Bean, Paris, Abyni & Jay drew roads with sidewalk chalk and then played with cars.

Then she posted photos of her kids drawing roads and playing.  I just about melted on the spot, I mean, HOW SWEET IS THAT???

The Kids watching the show for inspiration and ideas!

They even made a special road for their little brother so he had roads to play on, too!

These photos seriously made my entire night:)

I love seeing creativity in children!

They even thought to make sure the road was big enough for their big car!

Trains, too!

And look! A Helipad!

Its your turn!  Make my day and send me some pictures of your child being inspired by Bean!

We’ll be filming this Sunday for more videos next week… keep an eye out, and thank you so much for your support!
