The Cast & Crew

You can find *Our Story* here and find out how we came to this point of living with a purple monkey!

Bean the Monkey, a silly yet sweet, playful monkey who loves to interact with kids in person and through the internet.  He loves to play, sing, read stories and learn new things!

Bean’s Friends (thus far), are Abyni and Paris, sisters who still love playing make believe and working with kids.  We hope to add new (puppet) characters to the show with our funding through kickstarter.com!

Paris (before)

Paris (after)

Paris is a 13 year old who loves everything from doing makeup tutorials and reviews on her youtube channel, to playing make believe to fashion design.  She has so much creativity flowing through her veins, she can’t keep it focused in just one place… and why should she?  She is also an actress, with experience on stage and on film.

Abyni

Abyni is 11 and enjoys playing make believe with Bean as well as writing her own stories and doing drawings and paintings for her friends and family.  She is also an incredibly competitive basketball player, often proving that big things come in small packages!  She has been acting on stage since she was 4 years old and wants to be a professional actress when she grows up.  no, actually, she wants to be a professional actress RIGHT NOW:)  She has had experience acting on film as well that has just fanned the flames even more!

Ms Byn

Byn Always.  With over 15 years of experience as a homeschooling mom of five, as well as years of experience working in community theater both on stage and behind the scenes as a writer, director and producer of youth productions (You can find clips from our plays on her youtubechannel and you can find some of the very first Bean the monkey stories, too!), Byn brings her love of children and drama together to bring life and character to “Bean the Monkey“.

Mr. Patrick

Mr. Patrick is not only the one who helps with set building and play productions, he’s also the IT guy, the fix it guy and the all around DIY guy who makes all of this possible, and has been our constant source of support through all of our many projects for 18 years!  He’s also waiting to get his budget approved for some musical equipment so that he can write and perform the music for our introduction and songs throughout the show!

Kainan, Abyni & Jaedin

Kainan, probably the only 16 year old boy that would ever be willing to play with a silly little monkey like Bean.   Kainan is a typical teen aged boy in two ways, his rabid love of basketball and his xBox.  And that’s probably the only way in which he is “typical”.  His sarcastic insults crack us up on a daily basis.  He has the best sense of humor and I love just have conversations with him.  We think he’ll be quite an asset to our show!

His first time on the show was showing Bean tips for how to get to sleep for naptime!

Our other son, Jaedin is 15 and is our resident Sci-Fi geek.  He’s teaching himself computer programming and has a lucrative work from home business buying broken airsoft guns, refurbishing them (and often adding that extra oomph) and reselling them online.  He’s mostly a behind the scenes guy, but I may get him on the show eventually!

Sprite!

And last, but not least!!  Sprite!  The oldest child in the Always family, she is (like the rest of us), still a child at heart.  She is getting ready to move away and take a job with a ministry out of state, so we’re hoping to get her on film at least a couple of times before she goes!  She is a nanny/babysitter at the moment for several families and is wonderful with children, so she’ll be great on the show!  Watch her video here, and you can see her juggle!🙂

What an awesome family! And talented… I love the blog and the show, even though my kids are grown and both away from the house – it’s still nice to be a big kid and watch your awesome video’s… Keep up the great work Byn!
